Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Store Information: Store name, domain, and contact details to provide our discount and timer services
• Product Data: Product listings, pricing, and collections to configure volume discounts and countdown timers
• Order & Cart Data: Cart and order information required to apply automated discounts and track deal performance
• Theme & Storefront Access: Theme integration data to display timers, banners, and product grids on your storefront
• Configuration Data: Discount rules, timer settings, scheduled deal parameters, and display preferences

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

• Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, and billing information
• Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about cookies installed on the particular device
• Analytics data including deal click-through rates, timer engagement, volume discount uptake, and customer behavior patterns for the App's analytics dashboard

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

• "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
• "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
• "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

• Power countdown timers, volume discounts, and scheduled deal promotions on your storefront
• Apply automated cart and product discounts based on your configured rules
• Provide performance insights via the analytics dashboard, including deal conversion rates and customer engagement metrics
• Communicate with you regarding your account, support requests, and service updates
• Help you troubleshoot issues and answer questions about the App
• Optimize and improve the App's features and performance
• Use aggregated, anonymized data to enhance features and resolve technical issues

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. We use the following third-party services:

• Shopify Platform: DealPulse Discount integrates with Shopify through their official API and follows Shopify's Partner requirements and security standards. Payment processing is handled securely through Shopify's billing system.
• Analytics & Infrastructure Partners: We use trusted hosting and analytics services to operate the App and monitor performance. These partners only receive the minimum data necessary and are bound by data processing agreements.
• Aggregated Data: We may share anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify individual merchants or customers to improve the App and for industry reporting.

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you install the App through Shopify), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

We retain your configuration data, discount rules, and analytics while you actively use DealPulse Discount. Analytics and performance data is stored for up to 12 months to enable trend analysis and historical reporting within the App's dashboard. When you uninstall the App from your Shopify store, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, though some aggregated, non-identifying analytics data may be retained for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols
• Data is stored on secure servers with restricted, role-based access controls
• Only authorized team members may access your data when necessary to provide the Service
• We regularly review and update our security practices to address emerging threats

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the DealPulse Discount app dashboard or via email to the address associated with your Shopify account.
